We've got four methods of cleaning carpets. One in particular, has been designed especially for cleaning low profile office carpets and tiles. This system was introduced because cleaning of these type of tiles was problematic.
Most "ordinary" carpets have a pile on them. It's easy to introduce cleaning and water into them and then suck all of this out with a powerful vacuum. This is called air flow.
The problem with office carpets is that the pile is so low and dense that you cannot get an airflow through it.
This means that cleaning solution, dirt and water are trapped in the carpet. Eventually, this dries out and leaves a lot of dried dirt on the surface. This is why people say that carpets look worse after cleaning. That is rubbish. It means that someone did not use the right system and / or, did not do the job right.
With this special low moisture system, you can have lovely clean carpets that are dry within the hour. There is no flooding or overwetting, which is much better for IT systems.
